Mount the GAL-B
Verify the pistol is unloaded. Slide the GAL-B onto the rail, snug the mounting screw, and zero the laser.

Set your retention
Seat the pistol in the HL1 and turn the retention screws in small steps until it holds firmly and still draws clean.

Clip and carry
Clip it over your belt and run a few draws with the unloaded pistol before you carry. Recheck the screws now and then.

Does it work without the GAL-B?
No. The HL1 is molded to the pistol and GAL-B together, so carry it with the light mounted. It is not made for other lights or a bare pistol.
Can I run a red dot?
Yes. The HL1 is optic-ready, so your red dot and the GAL-B ride in it together.
How do I set the retention?
Seat the unloaded pistol and turn the two retention screws in small steps until it holds firmly and still draws clean. Recheck the screws now and then.
Is it inside or outside the waistband?
